EDUCATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

At Kidspreneurs Uganda, we believe in empowering children with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Our innovative approach to education goes beyond traditional classroom learning, focusing on instilling entrepreneurial mindset and skills from an early age. We understand that by introducing children to the principles of business and entrepreneurship early on, we can positively influence their future and foster a generation of confident, innovative leaders.

WHAT KIDS LEARN

Our curriculum is designed to equip children with a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship while nurturing their creativity, critical thinking, and leadership abilities. Here’s a glimpse of what children learn in our program:

Elementary entrepreneurship

Recognizing business possibilities:

What exactly is entrepreneurship and business? Startups and business models. How can business ideas become viral and shape trends? Differentiation of products and services. What motivates people to create their businesses, and what benefits do they reap as a result? Investigate trademarks and register patents. We then choose a business idea, logos, and slogans, as well as set business objectives, such as why you want to start this company, what you aim to achieve, and what you intend to earn from it.

Creating a business plan and conducting market research.

Establishing timelines, Labor costs, materials, packaging, and equipment. Who is your intended audience? Where are you going to sell? How are you going to reach your target market? We’ll look at every facet of developing our company plan. Set up market research and do an analysis. Finally, conduct a competition study to determine their strategy and analyze the differences and similarities.

Financial Analysis:

They will learn about the costs that are involved. How much do you need to start with, how much do you have to sell to cover costs? Breaking even and making a profit. Cost reductionsgovernment initiatives and schemes to help businesses, incentives. Issues and obstacles that may arise. Creating financial records, charts, projections, and estimations. Run a small promotional business as a try run before, they pitch their ideas.

Prototype and Marketing:

This is All about the product, testing, development, product promotion, and marketing. How will you promote your business? Viral market campaigns, celebrity endorsement. Create a questionnaire, and the ethics involved with it. Obtain feedback and adapt to the response of the questionnaire. Design, create, and post commercials, and social media posts.

Pitching

How do you find an investor? What is your offering to the investor in return for their input? How does this affect your business? Are you still the main stakeholder? We look at different companies and where shares have been offered, who has the most allocated, reasons, and public sharing. Present your business, find an investor, and start trading. Determine what you could have done better or changed
