You are invited to the Kidpreneurs Uganda kitchen!

The practical fundamental of Baking is a 3day class that will uncover the “why” behind the “how” of baking.

We will explore the most common ingredients and how they affect our baking when used in different ways. Once you understand the fundamentals of baking, you will be able to turn old baking failures into successes and troubleshoot as you bake from now on.

With a professional chef from skyz hotel helping and encouraging you along the way, you’ll work through common baking mishaps – like why a cake hasn’t risen – and be guided through the science behind it, so you can apply this knowledge every single time you bake and ensure the best results.

We Create a lasting fun filled memory with for your child by giving them an opportunity to bake a special batch of stuff by Allowing them to measure the flour and put them in charge of mixing the dough.

Baking is also a great tool to teach children:

Maths – measuring teaches them about fractions; while cutting the cake into slices, teaches them about dividing.
Reading skills – improve comprehension and vocabulary.
Teamwork – baking encourages teamwork.
Curiosity – baking will encourage scientific curiosity, for example making children question why the cake rises.
Develop patience – follow the recipe step by step, and wait for the results.
Follow through – from shopping for the ingredients through to baking, cleaning and finally sampling the baked goods will teach children the value of following.

The information will be presented in a fun and interesting way with practical projects, discussions and exhibitions

A child will understand particular ingredients and the science behind what happens when you use them to guarantee success whenever you bake and gain the confidence to try past failed recipes again as well as the skill to adjust recipes with success.

Day 1:

– Basics of baking and how to measure the ingredients
– ⁠Make break and donuts by the end of the class.
– ⁠Introduction to Kidpreneurship

Day 2:
– introducing ingredients for day 2
– ⁠Baking cookie and cakes

Day3:

– exhibiting the bakes we made and cake testing
– ⁠Swimming and so much more
